1. Banana and Coconut Milk Hair Mask (damaged hair)
Banana is perfect for dry and damaged hair, because of vitamins, magnesium and potassium, which will restore its moisture and make the hair soft and healthy. Vitamin E in coconut milk is known to improve manageability and shine of our hair.
2 ripe bananas
100 ml coconut milk
Method: Mash 2 bananas using a fork. Add coconut milk. Mix until you get a homogeneous paste. Apply the mask to dry hair, cover with a shower cap and wash with shampoo after 20 minutes (use cool water).
2. Egg and Honey Mask (hair loss)
The combination of eggs and honey will make your hair soft and nourished. The proteins in the egg stimulate the growth of new hair and honey has antioxidant properties that protect the hair and prevent hair loss. This combination will make your hair strong and silky!
½ cup honey
Method: Whisk the egg and add honey. Mix until you get a good consistency. Apply this mixture to your hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water.
3. Avocado Hair Mask (oily hair)
The minerals in avocado help hair to be healthier, prevent hair breakage, and generally improve hair quality. Olive oil it will make your hair incredibly soft and lemon juice with its antimicrobial properties works on hair quality and controls excess oil. Together they make the perfect mix that will do wonders for your hair!
1 ripe avocado
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Method: Peel and mash the avocado in a blender (or using a fork). Add lemon juice and olive oil. Mix until you get a consistent paste. Apply and massage into wet hair and leave on for an hour. Shampoo with a mild shampoo.
4. Coconut Oil Hair Mask (dry hair)
Coconut oil is the perfect ingredient for hair (but not for the face, due to comedogenicity) that will make it look amazing! One of the most common ingredients in hair masks is coconut oil and not without reason! Healthy fats in oil hydrate hair and support hair growth. If you have dry and damaged hair, coconut oil is the best you can do for you hair (and it is also completely natural)!
Cold pressed coconut oil
Method: Apply coconut oil to the hair, especially to the ends, leave for at least 30 minutes. Shampoo your hair in the usual way.
5. Yogurt and Strawberry Hair Mask (weak hair)
In the Middle East yogurt is a common hair care routine! Yogurt gets rid of dead hair cells, purifies and refreshes the hair, thanks to the proteins it contains. If your hair is weak and damaged by the sun, pollution or styling with various tools, lactic acid from yogurt is the miracle ingredient that will recover it, give it shine and a healthier look! Antioxidant-rich strawberries will protect the cell membranes and retain moisture.
½ cup of yogurt
Method: Blend strawberries and yogurt until you get a consistent paste. Apply the mask to dry hair and let stand for about five minutes. Wash your hair with a shampoo.
